SAMARA URBANIZATION
The land on which we operate has an area of 27,104 M².
The total constructed area is of 24,600 M² above ground and 5494 M² in the basement for parking and storage.
Due the plot conditions, two rotor modules of vertical circulation were done to access to the basements of the buildings. These in turn have a terrace with jacuzzi on the deck which have excellent views towards the sea and mountains.
The complex has areas without construction, which have a special treatment in landscaping, using beautiful native plants and two pool areas that may be accessed by pedestrian roads from any part of the community.
Samara is a unique terraced complex that leverages topography to show a modern project, horizontal in the trace and daring in its execution. The design yields to the spectacular views with the provision of spaces to be on the southern facade. Samaras neutral appearance enhances its integration into the environment.
THE ARCHITECTS VISION IN COSTA DEL SOL:
Samara is a collective residential complex of detached houses located in Lomas de Marbella, Malaga in Costa del Sol. It consists of a group of blocks positioned in 4 bands that are arranged in a sinuous way and in between them free spaces for gardens; paths and pool areas are displayed.
The complex as a whole has a very contemporary character. The apartment blocks are designed from large prisms with sharp edges. This design produces an interesting play of light and shadow on the walls, with large incomings and outgoings. The white colored buildings contrast with strong stone walls that save the different heights and on those who the vegetation hangs. Elevations loaded with movement, present hollow spaces of different sizes and proportions.
The plot involved is elongated and has a significant gap in its shorter dimension. These features have conditioned architects when designing the set and have chosen to produce a series of split levels or terraces on the ground to stagger the buildings. Thus the visual impact is much lower and the privacy of each block is maintained without interruption between the views between them. Vegetation plays an important role in this type of design, as the gardens and palm trees try to minimize the effect of changes in elevation and accompany the interior paths around the entire plot. In this case, buildings and vegetation get together to shape this beautiful urbanization in Costa del Sol.
