Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture is currently executing three detached villas with pools in El Horno de La Miera, Benahavis, Malaga.

These villas are designed and built with meticulous attention to detail, employing cutting-edge technology and high-quality materials and finishes for both interiors and exteriors.

Below are images and brief updates on the construction progress:

Villa A: The RPT paint application is complete, and work has begun on the external enclosures. Construction of the development’s boundary walls continues.

Villa C: The first image shows the structure’s current state, with roof slab formwork underway. The pool foundation is also visible.

In one of the villas, exterior cladding, stone cladding is being applied to selected exterior walls as per the design, using certified metal anchors. The image highlights the detail prior to mortar jointing.

Master Bedroom Terrace: Interior installations are ongoing, with climate control systems soon to be installed. Ventilation, air conditioning, and electrical conduits are visible, with all junction boxes concealed within false ceilings as required by the developer for a clean finish.

Roof Waterproofing: A view of the roofs during leak testing.

Double-Height Dining Area: An upper-level view of the double-height space above the dining area, showcasing the large window offering scenic views.

Outdoor Kitchen Pergola: Reinforcement work for the pergola adjacent to the pool is progressing.

Pool Construction: Reinforcement and embedded installations in the pool walls have been verified, and concreting has commenced.

The pool basin is complete, though work on surrounding sunbathing areas remains.

Facade Cladding Anchors: Detail of anchoring for facade cladding at heights exceeding 1.5 metres.

Residential Entrance: Reinforcement of concrete walls for the entrance gate to the private road is underway.
