Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture, among other projects, is fine-tuning the final details of a design concept for a 356m² villa in La Cala Resort, Mijas, Malaga. The contemporary design is tailored to the client’s needs, carefully adapting to the topographical layout and complying with the local urban planning regulations.
Among the modifications made to the initial plan are a reduction in the height of the living/dining/kitchen area and adjustments to the rest of the ground floor. Consequently, the upper floor has also been revised to maintain acceptable bedroom sizes.
Finalising a design is rarely straightforward, with several drafts and elevations created before reaching the final version. The key is to review, analyse, and study each case room by room, considering every aspect of the project from its foundation to its final finish.
One of the goals of every project is to minimise environmental impact by incorporating state-of-the-art installations, high-quality finishes, and energy-efficient solutions.
