Until May 20 we can visit the Yusto/Giner Gallery in Marbella, the exhibition A Russian History, by Miguel Gómez Losada, a series fed, in the words of the author, by “the stories that my father told when he came from Russia, added to the idea of the North as an idealized geography through my mother. Thus, distance is affection, reverie and belief, where nostalgia and hope are the outline, the farthest place, and painting, the only possible practice to see it”.
Miguel Gómez Losada, from Cordoba trained in Fine Arts in Seville, received in 2013 the creation scholarship from La Térmica, in Malaga, within the support program for contemporary creation.
