La Térmica pays tribute to Kurt Cobain and his group, Nirvana, now that the singer’s death has passed 20 years ago, through a series of photographs by Charles Peterson, Kevin Mazur and Kirk Weddle, which illustrate this period and the group’s influence music in the lifestyle that came to light at that time: grunge, a contemporary anti-fashion of the first anti-global movements, which could be considered heir to the punk of the previous decade.
The three photographers review different scenes that illustrate this period: Cobain’s private life, images of the Nirvana group itself or others like Pearl Jam or Soundgarden that immortalized grunge, or the backstage of the album Nevermind, the milestone in the history of this musical group who, despite living only 7 years, still leaves a mark today.
