Project Quercus – Real de la Quinta
Quercus del Real de la Quinta designed by González & amp; Jacobson Arquitectura is a unique residential complex, located in an exceptional natural landscape with panoramic views over the Mediterranean Sea. This project innovates with white concrete, wood and stone material to promote the essence of a spectacular environment with nature.
The Quercus Residential Complex is part of the development of Real de la Quinta, belonging to the municipality of Benahavís in the province of Malaga, which is made up of several residential complexes around a golf course, an artificial lake where the Lago-Club and its adjacent areas for sports-recreational activities.
Quercus consists of 102 apartments with large terraces, distributed in 18 terraced blocks on the hillside, with a maximum height of 3 floors and no more than 2 apartments per level. The common space free of buildings has been organized in landscaped areas, pedestrian circulation areas adapted to the topography of the land and swimming pool areas for adults and children.
In order to achieve a solid, sustainable and quality building, González & amp; Jacobson Arquitectura pays the utmost attention to the exhaustive control of the quality of the project, its materials and its execution, having made a careful selection of materials, both for the exterior and the interior of the houses, which, together with the exquisite care in the architectural details, it will allow to offer the best constructive result that guarantees the well-being of its future users. To achieve cozy, comfortable and energy efficient environments, the homes will be equipped with top quality floors, fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms, LED lighting, state-of-the-art temperature control systems, as well as PVC exterior carpentry with Climalit glass for a greater thermal and acoustic insulation.
It should be noted that, in this project, González & amp; Jacobson Arquitectura together with the promoters of this great project decide to implement the methodology BIM (Building information Modeling) methods and technological means of collaborative work, created to centralize and efficiently manage all the information of the construction project, within the reach of all the agents involved.
The selection of BIM for the project Quercus has been a success since it is enriching and facilitating collaborative work in the construction phase, while generating a series of expectations for the future.
