VISION OF ARCHITECTS URBAN PLANNERS:
This project presents a proposal for urban planning of Capcana Residential community in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It works will go on a land of over 28 hectares dedicated to the development of a residential and commercial area. The architects focused their study on the correct combination of different uses that will house the purposed surface.
Architects have devised a positioning strategy in the plane, creating two main centers. The first will go to the construction of the residential complex. The proposed dwellings are situated around a large green area for common use. Thus, access to housing is made from a perimeter road that surrounds all the set. It is a system that safeguards the privacy of house owners, turning the common areas towards the center of the community, away from prying eyes.
Next to this core, is set the commercial area, also maintaining a system of curved lines that seems to fit perfectly in the plot. Both residential and commercial area are crossed by a road from north to south and from east to west in order to minimize the distance between each area, acting as axes and facilitate the circulation.
In this urban development, the Architecture Firm Design in Dominican Republic has deepened in getting an excellent road and pedestrian mobility. That the different flows respected each other and allow the proper operation of the two great uses that arise this proposal in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
