Today we show you a small reform in an apartment of about 150 m2, located in a residential area of Marbella. It is a vacation home and its owners wanted to make it more comfortable and functional.
To do this, the proposal by González & Jacobson Arquitectura, maintaining the original program, replaces the previous spiral staircase with a more comfortable one, taking advantage of the space under it to place the kitchen, which is open to the rest of the day rooms.
The elimination of partitions and corridors allows the integration of a new dining area, gaining more useful surface, and making the living area larger.
As you can see, with a simple intervention we managed to improve the space. The choice of materials, then, will be crucial to renew the image of the house and give it the comfortable and simple character that its owners want.
