Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture is managing the construction of Pinares Hills in Pinares de San Antón, Málaga. This architectural project comprises 13 detached, contemporary luxury villas, co-designed with Pedro Rodríguez Losada Architect.

After a year of construction dedicated to the complex ground support structures and building structures, progress has been made in recent months on various interior works on Villa 7. This will be the first villa to be completed, intended to be presented as a show flat.

With the structure now complete, progress has been made simultaneously on the plasterboard partition walls, interior installations (sanitation, plumbing, air conditioning, electricity, etc.), masonry (facade, insulation), and roofs.

The screed layers of flooring were recently installed, along with the installation of underfloor heating. This operation could be carried out before the plasterboard partition walls or after the start of the project. The architectural team at González & Jacobson has decided to do it the latter way due to the order in which the construction was contracted.

The attached images show progress and testing of:

-Exterior view showing how the building is taking shape.

-Ceiling installations in the living room, with connections between air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, and sanitation.

-Working on the built-in headboard, with niches, in the master bedroom.

– Construction of drainage channels under the sliding balcony window frames in two distinct phases: first, the preparation of the support and then the installation of the gutter, with the underfloor heating and interior mortar already in place. This is an important detail in this type of home, where floor-to-ceiling windows are flush with the interior and exterior flooring to avoid problems with water ingress or condensation. Waterproofing must be continuous (using overlaps) under this channel to prevent leaks.

The Marbella-based architecture studio continues to progress on the construction of the 13 single-family homes being built in Pinares de San Antón, Málaga.

A dream location on the Costa del Sol, where the villas breathe nature. Each with a unique design is perfectly integrated into the natural surroundings of the area. Equipped with all the details, services, and top-quality materials.
