Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture presents a proposal to enhance the Puerto Banús roundabout towards in Nueva Andalusia on Calle Lirios, incorporating a visual reference/symbol for Breathe Restaurant. This contemporary architectural landmark, designed by the same firm, is located on the Costa del Sol.
The intervention focuses on the restaurant’s visual reference and hexagonal corporate imagery. Three material levels relate to structure, envelope, and technology. A metal framework supports tensioned fabric, which will be backlit to serve as a visual beacon at night.
Entering this area will be a pleasure, encountering not only the buildings and the restaurant’s iconic façade but also the renovated roundabout with BREATHE symbolism. The restaurant evokes various sensations, showcasing earth’s primary elements as central features.
