González & Jacobson Arquitectura obtains the provisional BREEAM certificate for the OLIVOS development in Real de la Quinta with a magnificent rating of VERY GOOD.

Los Olivos is a residential complex of apartments that is part of Real de la Quinta located in the idyllic setting of the mountain slopes of Marbella-Benahavís. The apartments of the Olivos development mix nature, tradition and modern design.

The foundations of Los Olivos are sustainability and respect for the environment. Obtaining the BREEAM certificate, awarded by the world’s leading sustainability assessment body, is proof of the commitment and excellent development of all activities and the execution of works in this urban development.

BREEAM, which is applied in more than 70 countries, is a global standard for evaluating construction projects in terms of ecological and social responsibility. From the use of water and energy, to urban mobility, recycling, local suppliers, landscaping or the protection of local flora and fauna, the BREEAM seal is synonymous with protection of the future.

We hope to receive the definitive certificate for phases 1 and 2 shortly, since the final documentation for the work was recently delivered.
