SEVEN CHAIR BY ARNE JACOBSEN

  • : :

Created in 1955, the model 3107 chair, also known as Series 7, is a chair designed for daily use, stackable, with a single piece of molded wooden board tracing a curve that facilitates the movement of the body. This piece is 9 mm thick and is made up of two superficial layers of laminated wood and seven intermediate layers of beech. The legs are made of 2 mm thick steel tube welded to a piece screwed to the seat.

There are different versions (with and without arms, wheels or base) and numerous counterfeits on the market, being probably the best-selling design (more than 5 million) of the author.

Its measurements are 50 x 52 x 77 cm and it is marketed by Fritz Hansen.
