It was 1989 when a young Rodolfo Amieva Jacobson accepted an internship in the town and postponed his return ticket to Mexico “just for a few months,” unaware that with that decision he had found a place to put down roots. Today, he has become one of the essential names in Costa del Sol architecture, leading Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture, the firm he founded in 1995 with Carlos Gonzalez Mora, and later joined by Diego Macias Domínguez.
