The intense and consistent rains of recent weeks have virtually paralyzed ongoing architectural projects in the province of Malaga.

Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture, during its weekly visit to the Vanian Gardens IV, Aedas Homes, and Selwo projects of the TM Group in Estepona, left these images. The plots are filled with water, and it was decided to halt the construction work that was in a state of earthworks until the rains brought a respite.

Persistent rain undoubtedly disrupts the usual pace of construction and can unbalance it in various ways: eroding the ground, compromising the stability of certain structures, damaging some materials if they are exposed to the elements, etc.

Under these circumstances, the most important thing for the Gonzalez & Jacobson architectural firm is to take the necessary precautions and measures to ensure the safety of the entire team. In addition to protecting or securing anything that could be affected by water, this is part of the actions to be taken to avoid further damage.

Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture, during the rainy season, assesses the risk of continuing work or halting construction based on the weather conditions and forecasts. The idea is to minimize risks in all aspects and resume construction as quickly as possible.

Meanwhile, the architectural studio is busy. There are many tasks and activities taking place in the office. There’s a time for everything.
