Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture firm is conducting a study of residential blocks in Fuengirola for the TM real estate group.

There are many aspects to consider when planning a residential block.

A geotechnical report is essential for any architectural project, as it provides crucial information about the soil type (such as rock, clay, water) and helps determine the necessary foundation system for the building’s structures. It also assesses the load demands on elements in contact with the ground, like retaining walls and slabs.

For TM group’s residential blocks, the plans and geotechnical sections (both longitudinal and transverse) indicate that most of Block 1 will rest on rock or a thin covering that can be addressed with foundation wells. However, one area will require piling.

Blocks 2 and 3, along with pools and other features, will also need piling. It is important to consider which type of piling is most suitable based on its function or technical code.
