IPANEMA, a Brazilian-inspired residential complex by Kronos Homes with design by Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture and their architects in Malaga, located in La Cala de Mijas, Costa del Sol, is actively advancing in construction.
Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture and their architects in Malaga has proposed a distinctive design for this residential complex, reinterpreting the exclusivity of Brazilian architecture adapted to the Costa del Sol.
Among many others, the following progress is shown:
Access to the technical floor in phase 1 and private garden lawn installation, serving as a reference for property owners, technicians, and builders regarding layout, finishes, and other specifications to ensure uniformity across the complex.
Waterproofing of basement walls, with visible asphalt fabric protected by a layer to shield it from the surrounding soil. Both elements are finished with a “bib-like” profile fixed with special screws to prevent water access to the waterproofing skin.
Effectiveness testing of waterproofing in the gallery access corridor. A simple system creates a shallow water-containing vessel to which the waterproofing material prescribed by the project management is applied.
Gabion wall installed on the interior road to bridge the level difference between housing portal access and the road.
Trench excavation for underground sewage network installation beneath the interior road.
Pool area work focuses on executing the pool basin.
Ipanema will undoubtedly be a landmark residential complex on the Costa del Sol, where harmony, modern beauty, and rhythm showcase Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture signature style and the professionalism of its Architects in Malaga..
Progress continues, with each day bringing new developments.
