Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture is part of the Jury of PIAM, Matimex International Architecture Award.
The 8th edition of the Matimex International Architecture Award (PIAM) has been open since January 28th with the registration of the first participants, closing on May 3rd, 2022.
It is with great enthusiasm that Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture announces its participation as a jury in the International Architecture Competition. Rodolfo Amieva Jacobson, Architect based in Marbella and founding partner of Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture, and Diego Macias Dominguez, Architect and partner, will represent the architectural firm, among other renowned architects of great trajectory.
PIAM is aimed exclusively at professionals from the world of architecture, design, interior design or engineering who, through the use of Iris Cerámica Group ceramic materials, undertake to develop a project idea or present a project designed in advance in which modifications are made with the use of Iris Cerámica Group materials.
This eighth edition of PIAM proposes a reflection on ‘The single-family home. The future is today’.
Some ideas about the typologies that fall within the theme of the competition could be:
Single-family detached, semi-detached and terraced houses. Dwellings that form part of a multi-family building are not included.
Within the policy of participation and social responsibility, Matimex will make a financial contribution to the NGO Amigos de Nyumbani for each of the projects submitted to the Matimex International Architecture Award 2022.
The winners will be announced on June 7th and published on June 9th.
