Quercus Phase I at Real de la Quinta, designed by Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture, is an elegant development of luxury apartments with two, three, and four bedrooms, achieving a final BREEAM certification with a rating of VERY GOOD according to the BREEAM Housing 2011 assessment.
This document, awarded in September to Quercus F.I in the Real de la Quinta Urbanisation in Benahavís, Malaga, certifies that it meets the sustainable construction standards established and required by this certification.
BREEAM, which stands for Building Research Establishment’s Environmental Assessment Method, is an international method developed to measure the environmental sustainability of buildings.
The categories evaluated include management, health and wellbeing, energy, transport, water, materials, waste, land use ecology, pollution, and innovation. Key factors addressed include low-impact design and carbon emission reduction; durability; climate change adaptation; and ecological value and biodiversity protection.
At Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture, sustainability and environmental care are always present when planning and developing our architectural projects.
Our planet needs us to be united, conscious, and committed to its wellbeing.
