Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture presents design eaves concepts for luxury villa in Marbella, Malaga.
What do we mean by eaves? Eaves are the lower part of a roof that projects beyond the wall, serving decorative or functional purposes. They are used to divert rainwater and provide bioclimatic benefits. Eaves protect against heat and reduce the amount of sunlight entering the home, thereby saving on air conditioning. Cornices above doors and windows are also examples of this.
In this luxury villa project, the architects in Marbella, Malaga, has proposed a series of eaves that respond to the location and its context. The design is inspired by the characteristics of the residences, where each element appears to extend outward from an initial form.
