Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture develops preliminary interior design concept for Gibraltar cable car. A journey from earth to man.
In this second part, we present how Gonzalez & Jacobson’s Marbella-based architecture firm approaches the project for Gibraltar cable car in its various spaces and their vision for it.
A building on the rock, blending with the surroundings, inside a cave symbolising shelter and introspection, a space where solidity is felt in every corner.
Here, the staircase becomes a powerful analogy for a personal journey: each step represents growth and self-improvement. They recreate the stairwell with materials evoking strength and durability, reminding us that although the path may be challenging, there’s always an ascent towards light. This light, filtering through the building’s openings, invites one to leave the cave and explore a vibrant environment teeming with life.
Thus, this journey from the cave’s interior to the exterior is not just physical, but also spiritual. It’s a constant quest for growth, where each step brings us closer to clarity and realising our potential. In this space, rock and light intertwine, creating a refuge that inspires progress and discovery beyond our limitations.
All details and services are considered in this architectural project of Gibraltar cable car, ensuring visitors’ experience is rewarding, enriching, and meets their expectations. Indeed, a lofty experience.
Visiting the Gibraltar Cable Car is definitely will be a trip to plan. A journey through history and an encounter with the charm of the earth’s depths and its mysteries.
