Gonzalez & Jacobson Architecture develops a study for a traditional Andalusian-style entrance gate for a luxury villa (H-22) in La Zagaleta.
Project documentation is attached, containing the design of the entrance gates to the plot, with a pitched ceramic tile roof.

The Gonzalez & Jacobson architecture studio, true to its roots, honors this design with the use of Andalusian ceramic tiles.
In Andalusia, the ceramic tile is not just a building material: it’s part of the very soul of traditional architecture. Its curved shape, reddish color, and placement on pitched roofs not only protect from the sun and rain but also tell a story of centuries of history, climate, and Mediterranean culture.
Architectural and functional advantages:
* Excellent thermal performance
* Durability in extreme climates
* Aesthetic integration with the urban and rural environment
Furthermore, the pitched roof promotes natural ventilation and rainwater harvesting, making this system a sustainable and efficient solution.
From white villages to historic cities, the ceramic tile continues to play a leading role in Andalusian architecture. A legacy that remains alive, adapting to the present without losing its essence.
